High school senior prank features SNL comedian

Students at Iroquois High School enjoyed a visit from a popular comedian

ELMA, N.Y. (WIVB) — Students at Iroquois High School enjoyed a visit from a popular comedian — commonly known for his role on SNL — on Thursday.

A student at the high school organized a senior prank with Bill Hader, a comedian who recently departed from SNL, but returns for cameos. At a school assembly, a student announced she would unveil a popular celebrity, but much to the dismay of the crowd, it was a local firefighter.

Soon after that announcement, a familiar voice crept over the speaker system.

“The hottest high school is Iroquois,” the voice of a popular SNL character named Stefon said. “This place has everything, a principal who fist bumps…and a super cool girl”

Soon after, Hader unveiled himself to the crowd and the crowd went into an uproar.

Following frivolities, Hader took pictures with students and signed autographs.

The prank was made possible by the Make-A-Wish foundation.
