About Magnolia:
People and fun loving girl, this dog will make you smile as soon as you meet her. She loves being cuddled and snuggled. She is also an active little dog who loves running and playing with all sorts of toys. She is wicked smart, and would love to attend Dakin’s dog training classes, so she can learn all about canine good manners. She is very friendly and playful with other dogs and would love to share her home with another canine pal. She does like to chase cats so will need a home without feline friends. She would be a great first dog for a family with kids as well. We recommend bringing the whole family (dog included) to meet her to be sure everyone gets along well.

UPCOMING EVENTS AT DAKIN

It is National Dog Bite Prevention Week. Dakin has special workshops to learn about keeping dogs and kids safe together.

Dogs & Toddlers – FREE – Sat. May 30th from 1 to 2:30 pm – As babies get older and hit their developmental milestones, this can pose challenges for safe interactions between the child and the family dog. This workshop will educate the parent, grandparent, child care giver, or pet dog owner how to ensure safety and harmony within the home. This workshop is centered around children between 3 months and 3 years of age. For more information or to register go to http://www.dakinhumane.org or call 413-781-4000 ext 129.

Dogs & Storks – Sat May 30th from 3:00 to 5:00 pm – This workshop is recommended for expectant parents or grandparents and how to best prepare the family dog for life with a new baby. Preparing ahead decreases stress and increases success. Learn how to better read your dog’s body language and set your home up for a successful and safe environment for both the new baby and the family dog. Workshop fee is $30.00 and covers registration for 2 family members. For more information or to register go to http://www.dakinhumane.org or call 413-781-4000 ext. 129
