CHICOPEE, Mass. (WWLP) – The Hampden County District Attorney will resume the use of breathalyzer test results in the prosecution of drunk driving cases.
Hampden County was among several jurisdictions that suspended breathalyzer testing because of questions about reliability.
D-A Anthony Gulluni said Thursday, that a state safety agency traced the problems to human error.
Gulluni said a properly calibrated machine that’s accurately read will produce reliable evidence that can be used in court.
