A Frost Advisory has been issued for Franklin, Hampshire, and Berkshire Counties

Any sensitive plants to cold temperatures should be brought inside, especially those that are potted.

CHICOPEE, Mass. (WWLP) – The National Weather Service has issued a Frost Advisory for Franklin and Hampshire Counties starting at 2 AM Friday morning until 7 AM Friday morning, as well as, Berkshire County starting at 2 AM Friday morning until 8 AM Friday morning.

A Frost Advisory is posted when conditions are right for frost to form.

Clear skies and temperatures in the mid to upper 30’s are forecasted for Thursday night and early Friday morning, allowing for a chance of frost to form.

Any vegetation and/or plants that are sensitive to the cold should be brought inside, especially those plants that are potted.

If any plants are unable to be brought inside and are sensitive to the cold, you may want to cover them.
