High speed chase crosses state lines

Police say they're looking for a white minivan with Mass. plates.

ENFIELD, Conn. – (WWLP) –  Massachusetts state police are helping police in Enfield, Connecticut find the driver of a mini-van that led officers on a high speed chase that crossed state lines.

Enfield Police Sergeant James Lefebvre told 22News the chase began on Frew Terrace in Enfield around 1:00 Monday morning. He said the driver got on I-91 North driving more than 100 miles an hour before crossing into Massachusetts.

The chase was called off for safety reasons.

Massachusetts police were on the lookout, but didn’t find the vehicle. State Police Trooper Matthew Stone says they’re looking for a white minivan with Massachusetts plates.
