(WGBA) Several baby animals have been taken from their winter quarters at Special Memories Zoo in Greenville, Wisconsin.
On Wednesday morning zookeepers realized that one baby kangaroo and four baby goats were missing.
This is the first time anything like this has ever happened at the zoo, and a first for head zookeeper Gretchen Crowe.
“There’s no way for them to get out on their own, somebody had to remove them,” Crowe said.
Four baby Nigerian dwarf goats were gone and a 5-month-old baby red kangaroo that was actually ripped away from its mother’s pouch, injuring her.
