Russian seals participate in WWII anniversary celebration

Russian military intelligence must have misunderstood what U.S. Navy SEALS are

(NBC News) – Seals at a Russian aquarium joined in World War II victory anniversary celebrations held across the country Saturday.

The aquarium in the Russian Siberian town of Irkutsk staged a patriotic-themed show featuring seals wearing military hats with soviet symbols shooting water pistols, saluting and holding toy rifles while turning around.

According to the aquarium’s director, the show was dedicated to those who took part in World War II, including animals who served alongside men and women.

Those who came to watch today’s show said they were mostly impressed by the seals’ ability to hold guns.

According to the aquarium’s director, the most difficult part of training was getting the seals to wear the hats.
