Duchess of Cambridge in labor

LONDON (NBC) — The Duchess of Cambridge was admitted to St. Mary’s Hospital in London in the early stages of labor this morning.

Parking restrictions at the Lindo Wing of St. Mary’s Hospital in London were put in place mid-April.

Kate, and her husband Prince William, Grandson of Queen Elizabeth and second-in-line to the throne, announced last year that the younger sibling to Prince George would be born in April.

The signs outside the hospital first announced that parking would be restricted from April 15 to 30 for a “Special Event”.

The notice was extended earlier this week.

Journalists, photographers and cameramen are beginning to descend on the hospital to capture the first glimpse of the latest addition to Britain’s Royal Family.
