Caught on camera: cop hangs on moving car

This is the type of thing that reminds you a police officer's job is so dangerous

(CNN) – It all began with Parker police spotting a car with expired license plates.  What they didn’t know was that Justin Wayne Lamb wanted on numerous felony warrants was hiding in the back.

The car was pulled over, the driver, Scott Williams, arrested.  Officer Glenna Villers spotted Lamb hiding beneath debris in the back seat and ordered him out, that’s when Lamb drove off in the car with officer Villers hanging on.

Officer Villers desperately held on at speeds up to 30 miles per hour swerving through traffic while Lamb tried to pry her hands off.

The officer had held on for a quarter of a mile. Pictures show injuries to the leg, hand and eye.

Lamb was finally caught after driving off the road, his defiance written all over his body including a swastika and obscenity directed to police on the back of his head.

Officer Villers was able to return to the job.  She declined to be interviewed for this story, citing the trauma still affecting her from that night.
