WINDSOR LOCKS, Conn. (WWLP) – Several flights into Baltimore’s airport were cancelled early Tuesday morning, including at least one flight coming from Bradley International Airport.
Southwest Airlines cancelled very early flights into their East Coast hub city Tuesday morning, including one that was supposed to depart Bradley at 5:35, and one that was supposed to leave Boston’s Logan International Airport at 5:30. Later flights to Baltimore continued on as scheduled.
The cancellations came the morning after intense unrest in the city of Baltimore. More than 150 fires were set, and stores were looted during the nighttime hours. A Baltimore Orioles game scheduled for Monday night was called off due to the nearby violence.
