Baltimore braces for more

(NBC News) Police and National Guard soldiers have taken up positions around Baltimore in an effort to prevent a second night of rioting.

“We’re going to bring whatever resources are necessary, whatever assets are necessary, as much manpower as necessary, to let the citizens know they will be safe,” said Maryland Governor Larry Hogan.

A curfew is in place for Tuesday night. Unless there is a medical emergency or they are going to work, no one will be allowed on the streets between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m.

Tuesday’s baseball game between the Baltimore Orioles and Chicago White Sox has been canceled, and Wednesday night’s game will be closed to the public.
