MGM meets with Mass. Historical Commission

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – MGM Springfield representatives met with the Massachusetts Historical Commission Friday for an initial round of talks.
After receiving approval from the Springfield Historical Commission, MGM needs state approval before it can demolish the Zanetti School and move forward with some of its construction.

The Commission did not vote on MGM’s plans on Friday.

MGM also expects all of its tenants to move out of its footprint by May 8th.  It’s anticipated opening is in the fall of 2017.
