HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) — Hartford police say a man has been found fatally shot in a parked car overnight.
Police said they found the man at about 2:40 a.m. Saturday after a report that a man in a car on Benton Street needed medical help.
Police said the man had a single gunshot wound to the head. He was pronounced dead at the scene on Benton Street.
Police believe he was shot in the car because there was a large hole in the driver’s side window. The vehicle is a rental car with out-of-state plates.
Police have not released the victim’s name but say he was 33 years old.
