HADLEY, Mass. (AP) — The 80th annual Livestock Classic presented by students at the University of Massachusetts-Amherst is being held at the Hadley Farm.

The show on Saturday is entirely run by students in UMass-Amherst’s Pre-Veterinary and Animal Science Club.

Goats, sheep, horses and cows will be shown by students who have worked during the semester to train the animals. The Boer goat management and Dorset sheep management classes are hosting a petting zoo.

The event will also feature a pee-wee class where children can learn how to show an animal and compete against each other for showmanship ribbons.
