SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – It was a frightening morning Tuesday for one mother in Springfield. Someone shot at her car as she drove to work.
The 28-year-old mother of four told 22News that she had just dropped her son off at school and was driving along St. James Avenue, when a car pulled up beside her and someone inside fired three shots at her Chrysler Pacifica.
Fortunately she wasn’t hurt. She pulled off onto Dartmouth Street and called police. Our crew on Dartmouth Street could see what appear to be bullet holes on a passenger-side door and on the hood of the car.
Her car was leaking fluid and had to be towed.
Police are still looking for suspects.
Additional information was not immediately available from Springfield police.
