GREENFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – The Greenfield Police had an unusual drug seizure late last week. They found hash oil, an extract of the Marijuana plant.

Police discovered the hash oil during the OUI arrest of 29 year old Jonathan Ogara of Montague last Friday.

Greenfield Police Sgt. Dan McCarthy told 22News officers found a substance believed to be hash oil, a concentrated and potent extract of the pot plant.

Sgt McCarthy stated, “It potentially could be. Hash oil is a more refined version of marijuana and hash itself.”

In addition to the operating under the influence charge, police charged Ogara with possession of a “Class C” substance, hash oil, the same category as a hallucinogen.
