Duke victory earns Plumlee Family third national title

NDIANAPOLIS (WANE) – With Duke’s 68-63 win over Wisconsin Monday night at Lucas Oil Stadium the all three Plumlee brothers of Warsaw have now won a national championship with the Blue Devils.

Back in 2010 – in Indianapolis no less – Miles and Mason helped lead Duke over Butler for the title. On Monday night in the Circle City the youngest of the three brothers, Marshall, earned his ring.

Marshall, a junior, logged nine minutes in a key reserve role, spelling All-American big man Jahlil Okafor who battled foul trouble. Plumlee was 0-for-2 from the field but registered an assist for Duke.
