Colorado snowpack near record low

Dry spell melted Colorado's snowpack by nearly 20 percent

(KUSA) – Coming off the snowiest February on record, the National Weather Service calls March a dud.

The dry spell melted Colorado’s statewide snowpack from 87 percent of average at the end of February to 69 percent as of Thursday.
