Mass Save offers free energy audits, energy saving devices

You can qualify for free energy efficient light bulbs

CHICOPEE, Mass (WWLP) – After a cold and snowy winter, many western Massachusetts residents are turning down their thermostats, and turning their attention to saving energy.

Eversource Energy’s suggesting you sign up for a no-cost home energy assessment. A specialist comes to your house to determine how much energy your using, and how much you’re losing, with an attic to basement inspection.

Following the inspection, the specialist provides a customized list of energy saving recommendations for your home.

Audit recipients can qualify for free energy efficient light bulbs, a free programmable thermostat, water saving devices, air sealing and insulation. They also offer weatherization rebates of up to 75% of $2000, and zero percent financing.

Eversource customers can access these free energy audits by contacting Mass Save at 866-527-SAVE, or by logging on to the Eversource website.
