CHICOPEE, Mass. (WWLP) – A call about a suspicious SUV led Chicopee police to arrest a 27 year-old woman on heroin charges.

According to Chicopee Police Officer Michael Wilk, Brittany Dulude of Holyoke was found with 70 packets of heroin and more than 20 different pills.

Wilk says that shortly after midnight on Saturday, police received a report of an SUV parked at the mobile home park at 1286 Granby Road. There was concern about possible drug activity going on inside the vehicle.

Wilk says that officers conducted an investigation, which led to the discovery of the heroin and unmarked bottle of pills.

Dulude is charged with possession of a class A substance (a subsequent offense), possession of a class A drug with intent to distribute, and possession of a class B drug. Dulude was released from police custody on $290 bail.
