SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – Springfield police have arrested the name of a woman who they say struck a girl with her minivan, after the child jumped out into traffic. Springfield Police Sgt. John Delaney told 22News that Karla Camacho, 31, of Springfield has been charged with driving with a revoked license, following the incident late Wednesday afternoon in front of 300 White Street.

Camacho, who Delaney says cooperated with the investigation, is not facing charges relating to the accident itself. The 10 year-old girl who was struck by Camacho’s minivan was treated at a local hospital.

Police are still looking into the circumstances surrounding the accident.
