BOSTON (AP) — Attorney General Maura Healey is holding a $50-a-ticket fundraiser just two months after taking office.

In an email to supporters, the Democrat touts her early record in office, saying she’s hit the ground running as the state’s top law enforcement official.

Healey says she’s worked to control health care costs, made prescription drug abuse a defining issue of her first few months, and filed a brief with the Supreme Court to help protect gay marriage rights.

The fundraiser will take place Tuesday at The Black Rose pub in Boston’s financial district at 5:30 p.m. Suggested contributions range up to $500.

According to the state Office of Campaign and Political Finance, Healey had a campaign balance of more than $105,000 in her account as of mid-March.

Healey won’t face re-election until 2018.
