(WWLP) – Jennifer Pagliei joined the 22News Storm Team in March of 2015 as the weekend morning meteorologist and science/environmental reporter.
Previously, she was a meteorologist for Herald Mail Media’s HMTV6 in Hagerstown, Maryland.
Her interest in weather began when she was a child frightened by thunderstorms. She started watching the radar and weather reports every day to learn why these storms formed and when they would arrive.
“While my friends were watching cartoons, I was watching the radar!”
After shadowing meteorologists at the National Weather Service during high school, Jennifer attended Rutgers University where she double majored in meteorology and journalism/media studies. She interned at Fox29 News in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and at NBC40 in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
Currently, Jennifer is a member of the American Meteorological Society and the National Weather Association. She also received a Merit Award for “TV Personality 2016” from the Massachusetts Broadcasters Association.
A former cheerleader at Rutgers, Jennifer continues to enjoy exercising, particularly going for a run. She also loves to spend time with friends and family, and giving back to the community.
