Reaction pours in after 49er retires from head trauma worries

(WBAY) – Sports fans, professional athletes and sports writers have taken to Twitter in reaction to San Francisco linebacker Chris Borland’s retirement from the NFL after one season.

The former Wisconsin Badgers standout told ESPN’s “Outside the Lines” that he’s concerned about head trauma. The 49er said he wanted to do “what’s best for my health.”
