(WFLA) It’s the kind of emergency call that makes deputies’ stomachs turn.
Deputy James Collins has worked for Florida’s Pasco County Sheriff’s Office for two weeks and was the first to arrive to a report of a Holiday house fire Monday. A person was trapped inside.
Collins wore one of office’s new shoulder-mounted body cameras to the fire in the Beach Square neighborhood. These cameras record everything deputies do and say.
In the video, Collins heads right through the front door.
Calling out to 88-year old June Sickles, Collins asks where he’ll find to Sickles’ daughter, Sharon.
“Which way? Which way? Which way? Which way?” he is heard yelling.
