SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – As flu season is winding down, Baystate Health is lifting its restricted visitor policy at their hospitals and facilities.
The restrictions were put into place in September to protect patients, visitors and staff against viral infections.
Baystate Health facilities will now revert to normal visitor policies, allowing open visiting hours. However, some restrictions will remain in place, depending on the patient’s condition and needs.
Family and friends who are sick with a cold, the flu, or fever should call instead of visiting the hospital.
