ISIS volunteers arrested

Three New York men accused of attempting to fly overseas in effort to join ISIS.

(NBC News) Three men living in New York City have been arrested and charged with conspiring to help ISIS.

The FBI says two of the three were eager to conduct terrorist strikes in the United States.

One suspect was arrested at New York’s JFK Airport, headed to Turkey.

A second suspect was planning to follow him from Istanbul to Syria, according to U.S. officials, where they’d fight for ISIS, or if ordered, return
to launch attacks in the United States.

Abdulrasul Juraboev, 24, and Akhror Saidakhmetov, 19, citizens of Uzbekistan and Kazhakstan, were arrested in New York, where they live.

Abror Habibox, 30, was arraigned in Florida, accused of helping pay for the plan.

Federal officials say they became aware of the men and their plan while monitoring a pro-ISIS website.
