Black Men Of Greater Springfield’s purpose is to bring together people ho share common goals of fostering excellence, improving the quality of life and maximizing the potential of African American Youth! Established in 1991, the Black Men of Greater Springfield is a 501 C3 non profit organization which provided services to minority youth through programming, scholarship, and various other programs in cooperation with a number of other area business, agencies and organizations.

Highlight of programs: The Umoja festival, The W.E.B. Academy Program, The Youth Robotics program, Career Day, The Amer-I Can program, Community mini- grant, The W.E.B. Academy summer program, The Tip -off -Classic game/ Youth Breakfast, Career Explorations.
