CHICOPEE, Mass. (Mass Appeal) Looking to mix up some love this season? We mixed up some Valentine’s Day cocktails with Mary Mercier from the Yarde Tavern in South Hadley.
Nothing better then chocolate and tequila!
- 1 1/2 oz tequila
- 1/2 oz orange liqueur
- 1/2 oz chocolate liqueur
- 1 oz chocolate syrup (see below)
- 1 oz Heavy cream
Combine ingredients over ice, shake well, pour into a glass rimmed with shaved chocolate with just a pinch of salt
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tbs. cinnamon
- 1 tbs. cayenne pepper (more or less depending on how HOT you like it)
Combine all ingredients except for extract in a saucepan, whisk well so there are no lumps.
Allow to boil 4-5 minutes to thicken
Cool and place in refrigerator.
- 1 oz vanilla vodka
- 1 oz Godiva white chocolate liqueur
- 1 oz amaretto
- Splash of grenadine
- Splash of heavy cream
Combine all ingredients in cocktail shaker filled with ice, shake well and strain into martini glass
Raspberry lemon champagne cocktail
- 3-4 raspberries
- 1/2 oz lemoncello
Place raspberries into a champagne glass with lemoncello
Top with champagne
