Five students taken to hospital after Hartford bus accident

The Hartford Deputy Police Chief says the injuries are minor.

HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) – Police say five children have been taken to hospital following a bus accident in Hartford.  Hartford Deputy Police Chief Brian Foley says the injuries are minor.

The bus carrying students from the University of Hartford Magnet School was involved in crash with a car at an intersection on Tuesday afternoon. The students were taken to Connecticut Children’s Medical Center.

The accident led to traffic congestion at the intersection that is piled high with snow.
