Donation to help improve Ludlow School libraries

Funds will go specifically to the library media centers

LUDLOW, Mass. (WWLP) – Thanks to a generous donation, the Ludlow School libraries will be upgraded and modernized.

A check was presented at Tuesday night’s Ludlow School Committee from the Joseph and Anna Dias Family Foundation. The nearly quarter million dollars will provide Ludlow students access to technology that will be so crucial to their education and careers.

“Give them that experience, and that ability to get all the information that’s out in the world, right into Ludlow Public Schools. And do it in a modern way so that they’re going to be prepared for college and beyond,” Ludlow School Committee Chairman Michael Kelliher said.

The funds will go specifically to the library media centers in each of Ludlow’s schools.
