BROOKLYN, Conn. (AP) – Connecticut state police say investigators have determined that two men found dead in a burned-out apartment building in Brooklyn last week died in a murder-suicide.
Police said Tuesday that 50-year-old Wayne Harbold was found in the living room with multiple gunshot wounds.
His roommate, 40-year-old Harley Roberge, was found in the kitchen with a gunshot wound that is believed to have been self-inflicted.
State police detectives also concluded that Friday’s fire had been intentionally set. Authorities seized guns near the body of one of the men. The case remains under investigation.
