Foggy start to bring dry and bright Super Bowl Sunday in Arizona

Weather conditions should be perfect for kickoff.

CHICOPEE, Mass. (WWLP) – After recent rain in the Phoenix area, Super Bowl Sunday is starting foggy at University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. Fog will give way to sunny skies the rest of the day and bring mild temperatures in the 60s Sunday afternoon.

  • Kickoff is at 4:30 p.m. (Phoenix time) and the weather should be bright in the mid 60s.
  • Halftime should feature clear skies with temperatures in the low 60s and upper 50s.
  • Final Whistle: Clear skies with temperatures in the mid 50s.
