I-91 in Vermont open again after multi-vehicle crash

Traffic being diverted off highway at Exit 2

BRATTLEBORO, Vt. (WWLP) – Interstate 91 northbound in Brattleboro, Vermont has re-opened after an accident near a construction site had it closed for more than an hour.

The Vermont State Police posted on their official Twitter account that there was a multi-vehicle crash at the Brattleboro bridge, where construction work is going on.

Northbound traffic was being diverted off the highway at Exit 2 (Route 9), and that caused delays on Route 9 itself.

The highway was re-opened before 3:00 P.M. Vermont State Police have yet to release details of the crash.
