CHICOPEE, Mass. (WWLP) – Having a home and car emergency kit is a good idea during all times of the year, and during a winter storm it can come in handy.
The Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency recommends you keep some of the following items:
- Radio (battery-powered or hand crank)
- First aid kit
- Prescription medications
- Cash, for if ATMs stop working
- Duct tape
It’s also a good idea to fill up your gas tank because stations rely on electricity to power their pumps.
