HOLYOKE, Mass. (WWLP) – Sunday marked the start of Catholic Education Week in the Springfield Diocese.
The Blessed Sacrament school in Holyoke observed the occasion with an open house for parents and students.
Sal Canata told 22News he and his wife are well satisfied with the education their two children received at this Catholic school. “The atmosphere, the climate and the culture of this particular school has allowed them to be complete. They care about other people, they’ve had a great foundation with their education.
5,500 western Masssachusetts children attend schools operated by the diocese. 238 of them go to school at Blessed Sacrament in Holyoke.
