OTSEGO COUNTY, Mich. (WPBN) Two northern Michigan ski resorts are cleaning up this week, after thousands of dollars of damage was done, allegedly by fraternities from the University of Michigan.
Door frames were broken, windows were shattered, and holes were punched in walls.
“It’s appalling, disturbing,” said Treetops Resort and Spa’s James Vanderveer. “Just never thought that something like that could actually happen with that much damage and that any human would want to do something like that.”
So far, neither resort has chosen to press charges. They say they will fix the situation directly with the University of Michigan.
