Photography studio donates money to Baystate Children’s Hospital

The Delaney House stepped in and provided $2,200

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – Baystate Children’s Hospital received a nearly $8,000 donation Wednesday from a Holyoke photography studio.

However, the Robert Charles Photography fundraising fell short of the $10,000 they’d hoped to donate. So Delaney House restaurant owner Peter Rosskothen stepped in and provided $2,200 to bring the total to $10,000.

Robert Charles Photography President Edward Zemba’s family has benefited from the children’s hospital care.

“We did have some personal issues in our own personal family a while back and as a result we wanted to give back to the community and to an organization that’s given so much to us,” said Zemba.

Both Zemba and Rosskothen described Baystate Children’s Hospital as having helped the families of many of their employees.
