(KULR) Oil spill response workers are working to clean up thousands of gallons of oil following a weekend pipeline break near Glendive, Montana.
An estimate 40,000 gallons leaked from the Poplar Pipeline and into the Yellowstone River, contaminating the drinking water supply of Glendive residents.
Residents are still being advised not to drink the water.
A sensing tool being used by repair crews discovered an approximate location of where the leak is when it detected a loss of pressure about 50 feet from the south bank of the Yellowstone.
