FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (WWLP) – After he and his teammates advanced to Super Bowl XLIX, Vince Wilfork wasn’t out celebrating- he was helping a woman involved in a rollover crash. According to Massachusetts State Police Media Relations, around 12:45 Monday morning, troopers found Wilfork checking on the driver of a Jeep Wrangler that rolled over on Route 1 in Foxborough.

State police say the driver of the Jeep couldn’t get out, so a trooper held the overturned SUV’s door open while Wilfork reached inside and got the woman out with one hand. The Patriots star left after making sure that troopers didn’t need any more help.

Police and EMTs checked on the driver, Mary Ellen Brooks, 38, of Hanson, who was then arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol and negligent operation of a motor vehicle.
