Framingham, Mass. (CNN) – A woman in Massachusetts is facing charges after authorities say she walked into a police station and started throwing raw meat.
Lindsay McNamara of Ashland, the defendant, said, “God told me to go over there and feed the pigs.” She represented herself in court. “Somebody’s out to get me. I don’t know who it is but somebody’s out to get me.”
The 24-year-old is now charged with disorderly conduct and malicious destruction of property. For the mess she allegedly made this morning at Framingham police headquarters.
Framingham Police Lt. Harry Wareham said, “She walked into the lobby. She was holding a Dunkin’ Donuts box. She walked up to the front window. When the officer greeted her, asked her if he could help her, she said ‘I’m here to feed the pigs.”
McNamara then allegedly reached into the box and began throwing raw bacon and sausage at the officers, smearing the greasy meat onto the bulletproof glass.
Lt. Wareham said, “It’s clear she may need help.” The judge agreed. He went on to explain to McNamara that she had a right to an attorney, and that anything she said could be used against her.
The judge then called McNamara’s parents forward, told them he was postponing the arraignment and ordered a mental evaluation. McNamara’s mother assured the court her daughter is a good person, she just needs some help.
McNamara was released into the custody of her parents.
