Thomas never regained consciousness and died

(KING) – The death of a Washington state teen killed by a single punch to the head has been ruled a homicide by the Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office.

Jarom L. Thomas was with friends at a cabin on Lake Roesiger Saturday night when he got into an argument with a friend.

The two teens, who both attend Crossroads High School in Granite Falls, agreed to settle their differences by allowing the suspect to punch Thomas in the face.

According to police, the 18-year-old suspect punched Thomas, who then fell to the ground. A friend eventually took him to the hospital but Thomas never regained consciousness and died.
