BOSTON (AP) — A Massachusetts bus driver has been suspended after fighting with a passenger.

The Boston Globe reports that MBTA Transit Police are investigating the circumstances of an argument the occurred Saturday afternoon on a Route 1 bus between a female driver and a male passenger.

A video filmed by a passenger shows the two arguing before the man apparently spits on the driver as he gets off the bus. The video shows the two continuing to argue outside before the driver swings an object at the man, knocking him down.

An MBTA spokesman said the driver has worked with the agency for more than nine years.
