(NBC News) – If you are still making your list and checking it twice, get ready to brave the crowds as we head into the final weekend before Christmas.
“About half of consumers are doing last minute holiday shopping, so if you still haven’t crossed everyone off your gift list you’re not alone,” said Rebekah George of retailmenot.com.
Super Saturday is traditionally one of the biggest shopping days of the year and this year it is forecast to surpass even Black Friday.
The good news is that there are still deals to be had, even though you may have procrastinated on gift buying.
“As we move into the final stretch there are really great discounts out there, one risk is not enough inventory,” said George.
For many consumers, last minute shopping also means last minute shipping.
UPS is predicting that Monday will be its busiest day of the year.
