Detectives, with the help of Milford’s K9, Cedar, found the suspect 28-year-old Guiseppe Berardi, of Bronx, NY, in possession of five pounds of high grade marijuana.

At another location, police seized an additional six pounds of the same marijuana and a 9 MM firearm with ammunition. The estimated street value of the marijuana is of $33,000.

Berardi was charged with possession of marijuana with intent to sell, possession of marijuana, possession of marijuana within 1500 feet of a school, operating a drug factory and criminal possession of a firearm. He was held on $100,000 bond.
