Pedestrian hit by car in front of the Great Barrington Town Hall

The victim was taken to Hartford Hospital

GREAT BARRINGTON, Mass. (WWLP) – Police in West Springfield, Chicopee and now Great Barrington are investigating pedestrian accidents that happened Thursday night.

Great Barrington Officer Paul Montgomery told 22News that a person was hit in front of the Town Hall on Main Street, Thursday night. The victim was flown by helicopter to Hartford Hospital.

The condition of the victim and whether the driver will be charged is unknown at this time.

Two other people were hit by vehicles Thursday night, in West Springfield and Chicopee. Both victims were taken to local hospitals while only the driver in Chicopee has been charged so far with an OUI.
