GREENFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – A man who allegedly robbed another person at knifepoint inside a Greenfield restaurant bathroom was arrested by police in northern Worcester County Thursday.

According to Greenfield Police, Jason Comeau, 40, of Athol, was arrested in Winchendon at around 6:00 A.M., and has since been brought back to Greenfield so he can be arraigned.

Comeau is accused of robbing another customer at the Main Street Bar and Grille in Greenfield on November 23. Earlier this month, police sought the public’s help to find Comeau, who they said had a history of violence toward police officers.

On their official Facebook page Thursday, Greenfield police thanked members of the public for their tips, as well as the Northwest Anti-Crime Task Force, the state police, and the Winchendon police for their help.
