(WLBT) A 9-year-old Mississippi boy is fighting for his life after crashing a car full of children, killing two of the young passengers.
3-year-old Braydon Traxler and 13-year-old Justin Harrell died after being ejected when the car they were in slammed into a light pole, snapping it in half.
The wreck happened late Friday night in Scott County’s close knit Hillsboro Community.
9-year-old Ty’Jun Thigpen, known to many as Nemo, took his mother’s car keys, got behind the wheel of the car took the other children on a joyride.
Then Thigpen saw blue lights and tried to avoid a Mississippi Highway Patrol’s safety check point.
