LUDLOW, Mass. (WWLP) – Parents and teachers had a bit of disagreement at a Ludlow school committee meeting Tuesday night.
Teachers are asking the board to reconsider school policies that do not allow teachers to have school day celebrations with food.
However, parents were also at Tuesday’s meeting asking the board, and teachers, to respect students that have food allergies, saying food celebrations could alienate children who would be unable to attend.
The council plans to discuss the issue again with the health advisory board before any decisions are made.
