MASHANTUCKET, Conn. (AP) — A man has been arrested by tribal police at the Foxwoods Resort Casino on charges that he left his 3-year-old son alone for several hours at a hotel.

Police say 33-year-old Troy Forster of Windsor Locks left his son alone for more than three hours while he was at the casino with his girlfriend.

The Day of New London reports that he was charged Tuesday with risk of injury to a minor. A phone message left at his home address was not immediately returned.

Police say they were called to the Fox Tower hotel at 2:35 a.m. on Nov. 23 by hotel guests who reported a toddler crying in a hallway. The toddler had apparently wandered out of the room on his own.
